Durable to support everyday use, the Scotsman HID312AB-1 ice and water dispenser's auger, evaporator, and exterior panels are made of stainless steel—a rust- and corrosion-resistant metal that's simple to clean. At the push of a button, it dispenses water and chewable, absorbent nugget ice. Its buttons and other key components are treated with antimicrobial agent to inhibit bacterial, mildew, and fungal growth. To optimize sanitation, its bin, air filter, spouts, sink, and grill can be removed to enable thorough cleaning.
 
Producing a maximum of 260 pounds of ice per day in ideal conditions, the Scotsman HID312AB-1 ice dispenser is meant for low-volume operations. It produces H2 nugget ice—a chewable, absorbent type that's ideal for chilling soft drinks, and it's equipped with a 12-pound storage bin. To reduce the risk of contamination, its refrigeration system is sealed. This unit is air cooled and operates with R-134a refrigerant.
